Warranty Policy
Every engine and gearbox supplied by Parts Center is inspected, engine-code verified and covered by a written warranty. Warranty cover applies from the date of dispatch.
Warranty Periods
- Imported Engines — 3 to 12 months mechanical warranty on the internal rotating assembly (block, crank, pistons, head).
- Gearboxes (Automatic, Manual, CVT, DSG) — 3 to 6 months mechanical warranty on internal gears, shafts and clutch packs.
- Extended warranty available on request for selected high-value units.
What Is Covered
- Internal mechanical failure of the engine block or gearbox casing components as originally supplied.
- Manufacturing or pre-existing defects not disclosed at the time of sale.
What Is Not Covered
- External components (turbos, injectors, sensors, wiring, ECU) unless separately warranted in writing.
- Damage caused by incorrect installation, tuning, overheating, oil starvation, contaminated fuel or lack of servicing.
- Units installed by an unqualified technician or without following the supplied technical report.
- Consumables — oils, filters, gaskets, seals, belts and mounts.
Making a Claim
Contact Sales@partscenter.co.za or WhatsApp +27 68 768 5103 within 7 days of the fault. Include the invoice number, engine/gearbox code, installation invoice from a registered workshop and a diagnostic report. Approved claims are repaired, replaced or refunded at Parts Center's discretion.
